What? 

Festo is a monthly Klezmer and Balkan music concert and community jam session. Each gathering includes short performances by the Festo Festo house bands [Gora Gora Orkestar and Denver Klezmer All-Stars], a performance by a special guest band or dance troupe, and a jam session in which all attendees are welcome to participate. As of October 2023 Festo Festo is a program of the Staenberg-Loup JCC. 

When and where? 

Usually the last Thursday of every month from 7 to 9:30pm at venues such as the Mercury Cafe, Africana Cafe and the Staenberg-Loup JCC. 

Why?

We, the organizers, want to celebrate our own cultures, learn about the cultures of others through music and dance, and help these cultures flourish and grow in Denver. We want to inspire new sounds through intercultural collaboration. We want to strengthen community relationships and we want to experience unbridled joy with you! 

Do I need tickets? 

This event relies on donations. Attendees are not required to purchase tickets, but we ask for donations for $10-20 in cash or by sending money via venmo to @Festo-Festo
